The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009)
Rated R for disturbing sadistic horror violence, nudity and language.
WARNING: What is seen in The Human Centipede cannot be unseen. What is heard in The Human Centipede cannot be unheard.
The Story: The story is pretty simple, but I'm going to leave it to IMDB for this one.
"A mad scientist kidnaps and mutilates a trio of tourists in order to "reassemble" them into a new "pet"-- a human centipede, created by stitching their mouths to each others' rectums."
Okay, and now I'll leave it to NetFlix.
"After their car breaks down while in Germany, Americans Lindsay (Ashley C. Williams) and Jenny (Ashlynn Yennie) wind up at a remote villa -- and soon find themselves trapped in a nightmare. Dr. Josef Heiter (Dieter Laser) kidnaps them for his demented experiment to create a human "centipede." The plan includes removing their kneecaps so they must walk on all fours, then surgically connecting them to a Japanese man to create a bizarre human chain."
Okay, and Now i will leave it to NetFlix, as it states in the brief summary of the film when my mouse hovers over the cover of the film.

I never read a full explanation of the story when I clicked to watch it, all I read was the abridged version. And thus was unclear on what I was about to witness. Sure, it's my own fault, I should have looked a little bit harder for some sort of explanation or maybe found a trailer to watch, but I didn't... And I have paid the price.
I've sat through some disturbing things before, but nothing has stuck with me as long as The Human Centipede. It's just so God damned sadistic! The imagery is pounded into your brain by constantly showing you close ups of their faces stitched to each other. There's no more humiliating part of any film I've ever seen to date, than the scene in which it's revealed how the person in the front has to feed the person in the back. The sounds and the thought is disturbing enough without having to hear the Dr. scream "FEEEEEEEED HER!!!". I can't imagine why any actor would let them self be subjected to this kind of sick filmmaking. What must their parents think? "WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE THIS MOVIE? COULDN'T YOU FIND A JOB IN PORN INSTEAD?"
I have to admit though, the cinematography isn't terrible, and the films sterile white style seems oddly fitting, it will indeed keep your heart pounding as you constantly fear what's next, and it will leave an impression on you. It has a few religious undertones to it, as it tries to compensate for its otherwise generic story of tourists being tortured, though the undertones are also pretty generic and cliched. "You aren't god!" "We're not your pet!" blah blah blah. AND we don't see the mad scientist role too often these days, which is kind of unique in its own disturbing right. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a positive part of the review, I hate this film, I hated watching it, and I hated every last minute of it, but there's no getting around some good camera work and a dying character type.
The Cast: Dieter Laser...
Dieter Laser is Dr. Josef Heiter. He's disturbing. The fact that he plays this part so well is disturbing. I want to throw a rock at him.
One to Five Scale: 1
My scale doesn't go any lower than a 1. I seriously contemplated making an exception for this film.
